GET’IN SALTY….

Epsom Salt BathYou know what’s better than a nice relaxing bath after a long day?  Ya I know a relaxing bath sounds pretty spectacular on it’s own, but let me tell you a little secret….an epsom salt bath is SO much better!!  I can’t tell you how much better sore muscles feel after a good epsom salt bath soak ….you know sore muscles from all that working out I’ve been doing (wink wink)!  Plus I just love how soft it makes my skin feel!  Hands down, a bath just isn’t a bath without epsom salt.

So what makes an epsom salt bath so much better?  Well epsom salt is made up of the minerals magnesium and sulfate.  Magnesium helps to regulate over 300 enzymes in your body and sulfate helps to flush toxins from your body.  Ironically enough, most of us are magnesium deficient, and while studies have shown that both magnesium and sulfate are poorly absorbed through the stomach, they are both very easily absorbed through the skin.  If you want to know more about the benefits/uses of epsom salt, check out this out.

Personally, I have bags and bags of this stuff ….because a girl can’t run out of epsom salt when she needs it most right?  I usually stock up on the Target brand epsom salt, but occasionally I splurge and get this stuff in lavendar or milk and honey.  The scent of both of these epsom salt splurges seriously turn my bathtub into an instant spa ….just the way I like it!!

So the next time you take a bath, elevate the experience and add a little epsom salt!  You won’t be disappointed.

Sally Hansen Salon Effects at everydaylovely.comI can’t tell you how utterly smitten I am by these Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips.  For starters they come in a bunch of really amaze designs, but what really sold me was that there is no drying time involved.  That’s right….NO DRYING TIME….an impatient person’s friend!

LIVING ON THE BRIGHT SIDE!!!

pink outfit                               Blouse // Earrings // White Denim // Purse // Shoes

How amazingly fun is that bright fuchsia shirt?  Doesn’t it just make you instantly happy?  I can’t explain it, but when I wear bright colors like that, it puts a pep in my step!!  Somehow I get this extra boost of confidence, like everyone is looking at me and I know I look good.  It’s possible most likely really, that everyone is just staring at the hard to miss bright glow that is my shirt….but I don’t prefer to think of it that way (come on humor me here)!!!

Anyway, when I saw this bright fuchsia shirt at The Limited, I knew I had to have it!!  Plus it was the perfect addition to those black mules from Aldo that I snagged up on sale.  Did you know that mules were the item to get this spring, and obviously a girl can never have too many shoes….exhibit A!!!  I don’t know about you but outfits like this are my go to this summer.  It’s all about living colorfully…being a little bold….making everyday lovely….becasue why not friends!!!
